TechnoNext successfully host “Cyber invasion 2025”

TechnoNext powered onsite cybersecurity competition “Cyber Invasion 2025” was successfully held on Saturday (13.12.2025) in the head office of the company at Dhaka with the participation from students and professionals across the country.

The event began with an online qualifying round, which received an overwhelming 720 registrations from aspiring cybersecurity enthusiasts nationwide. Out of these, more than 450 participants actively joined the online session and competed in the preliminary challenges.

CIRT identified 153 publicly exposed FortiGate devices in Bangladesh

Based on performance in the online round, the top 75 participants were shortlisted and invited to compete in the onsite final round, held today. The onsite round featured advanced Capture The Flag (CTF)–style challenges designed to test participants’ skills in areas such as web security, exploitation, and problem-solving under pressure.

After intense competition, the champions of Cyber Invasion 2025 are A. M. Samdani Mozumder from the University of Dhaka, who won with 1475 points, and Yousuf Abdullah Fahim as the 1st runner-up also with 1475 points and Md. Fahim Al Shihab from AIUB came in 3rd with 1450 points.

In comment with infosecbulletin, the participants said, we participant company arranged CTF for first time and this is the new experience. As the culture grows, we hope another company will inspire which eventually leads the way to a greater shift to the cyber security community in Bangladesh.

Rashidul Islam, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of TechnoNext said, we arrange such program to find the skill set within our country. As digitalization is growing rapidly more vulnerabilities we have to face coming ahead. So, such initiative will help to prepare a national skillset to fight with the challenges, will face.

“We dream a cyber warrior to fight internationally,” he added.

Mehedi Hasanul Haque, Network and system manager, TechnoNext said, not only organizational but also for national security we need to increase our cyber hero. Techno Next is arranging such competition for the very first time to support the cyber community as well as the nation.

He expressed his dream to organize such program in future where more participant will get chance to compete each other showcasing their talent.

The event was graced by Ahmedul Islam Babu, Director of JBCCI and Founder & CEO of TechKnowGram Ltd. and SubjantaAI, as the Chief Guest.
