Bangladesh to make AI powered government brain: Palak

State Minister for Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology Junayed Ahmed Palak said that AI powered government brain will be made. He said this at the opening ceremony of the specially abled persons job fair organized under the leadership of Information and Communication Technology Department and under the initiative of Bangladesh Computer Council at Agargaon on Saturday (February 10) morning.

The state minister said that the institutional memory will be created with the help of the government brain in the name of AI power like G-Cloud which will be the government GPT.

Mentioning that disabled people are more hardworking than others, State Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Junayed Ahmed Palak said that disabled people are paying more attention and responsibility in the workplace than healthy normal youths. He said disabled people are our brothers and sisters. They should be given a chance. He said disabled people will be more ahead than others with their hard work, talent and responsibility.

In this job fair organized at Agargaon in the capital, hundreds of specially capable people from all over the country got the opportunity to interview for jobs directly with their CVs. Various renowned institutions of the country are confirming further activities through shortlisting according to merit in various categories.

Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) and Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) member technology institutes, E-Commerce Association of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Association of Contact Center and Outsourcing (BAKCO), Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB) participated in this fair. ), Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA) and Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI0) have seen stalls.

Meanwhile, specially abled people were seen walking around with their CVs in anticipation of jobs in various stalls. Telling your own ability, there is also the pressure of depression.

The job fair is being organized since 2015 with the participation of job seekers and employers. Till now about 1600 ICT skilled persons with disabilities have been provided employment through job fairs. Computer trained and skilled job aspirants participated in this fair. This time it will be possible to give jobs to about 50 people through the fair. Also, more than 200 job aspirants will be shortlisted for interview for subsequent recruitment who will be arranged for employment in a phased manner.

Bangladesh Computer Council Executive Director Ranjit Kumar chaired the event, NGOs Bureau Director General Saidur Rahman, Information and Communication Technology Department Secretary Samsul Arefin and Center for Services and Information on Disability Executive Director Khandkar Zahurul Alam were present in the event.
