Meetup of Bangladesh Kubernetes User Group was held at Banani Club 9294, Dhaka on Thursday, 31 October 2024. A lively and educational evening was organized with the participation of top Kubernetes experts and technology enthusiasts of the country. The meetup organized lectures and experience sharing sessions on several important topics.
In the first lecture on Kubvert and Kubernetes, Ashraf Minhaj discussed how to manage legacy applications and modern containers on the same infrastructure.

Later, Saiful Islam shared his career experience, which gave the audience new insights into the challenges and solutions of Kubernetes. In the second lecture, Amdadul Bari discussed “Kubernetes Application Scaling”, which helps community members to increase their scaling skills.
Then Md. Mahadi Hasan Rajeev shared his practical experience, which highlighted various aspects of Kubernetes implementation.
The highlight of the event was the felicitation of Md. Nasir Uddin as the second Kubestronaut of Bangladesh to receive the title of Kubestronaut from CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation).
A cake was cut to celebrate this remarkable achievement and he shared his inspiring journey of achievement with everyone.
In the final part of the program, Amir Hossain highlighted the importance of community relations and how these communities can act as social value driven and human resource development partners.
Community members discussed various aspects of Kubernetes and container technology and participated in an open Q&A session moderated by Arif Hossain. Besides, Amir Hossain and Jasim Alam were responsible for the smooth running of the entire program including the opening session, quiz and closing session. Their excellent coordination made the event more enjoyable and successful.
Such events strengthen the bonds of the Kubernetes community and contribute to technical skill building and knowledge sharing.
