Manish Kanwal, the Regional Sales Manager for North & East India, Bangladesh, and Nepal, talked about Barracuda’s combined cyber security platform. He described the Platform as a complete system that helps organizations observe, protect, and respond better at different levels of their digital setup.

According to the presentation, the platform is structured around four major protection areas: Email Protection, Data Protection, Network Protection, and Application Protection.

In the Email Protection segment, Barracuda showed features to stop spam, malware, phishing, impersonation attacks, and domain fraud. They also help with responding to incidents and raising security awareness. The company said these tools are key to lowering the risk of business email scams and other social attacks that aim at organizations around the world.

For Data Protection, Barracuda showed products like server backup, Microsoft 365 cloud backup, email archiving, and data sorting. These tools help businesses keep running, recover data, meet rules, and make sensitive information clearer.

The Network Protection part of the talk was about technologies like Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Zero Trust Security, Secure SD-WAN, network firewalls, and web security. Barracuda stressed the need for cloud-based security that can protect users, branch offices, and remote workers in places.

A key topic of the roundtable was Application Protection. This shows how important it is to keep web applications, APIs, and other online services safe as businesses grow their digital work. Barracuda presented its Web Application Firewall (WAF) as part of a wider plan for application security. They called it a complete tool for safeguarding business web areas against dangers like API misuse, DDoS attacks, data leaks, and web-based attacks.

Barracuda’s application security products have API security, web application firewall features, DDoS protection, and help with compliance. The company also pointed out proactive defense features like IP reputation, Geo IP controls, threat intelligence, advanced threat protection, and machine learning that finds and stops suspicious activity before it harms applications or users.

Barracuda said its security plan has layers like Barracuda One, Managed Services / XDR, Threat Intelligence Platform, and different Deployment Choices. These parts show a focus on easy management, smart defense, managed detection and response, and flexible options for different customers.

As MSP partner of Barracuda in Bangladesh, ColoCity said, for Barracuda related any queries interested anyone can reach out us for demonstration and clarification.

The Dhaka roundtable shows that the industry is moving towards better security systems as companies in South Asia deal with more ransomware, phishing, cloud services, identity theft and threats to web applications and APIs. Barracuda’s message at the event was about making security operations less scattered and creating a stronger cyber resilience for the whole organization.
