17th bdNOG conference start tomorrow for three days

17th bdNOG Conference and Workshop is going to be held in Dhaka on December 12-15 jointly organized by Bangladesh Network Operators Group (BDING) and Internet Service Providers Association of Bangladesh (ISPAB).

Three days technical workshop and one day hosting day will be in the conference. The workshop will train Internet engineers on Network Management and Monitoring (NMM) and Advanced BGP Routing.

bdNOG Board of Trustee Chairman Sumon Ahmed Sabir said, We have been organizing this conference regularly with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experience among Bangladeshi engineers, conducting various operational researches, promoting local ICT talents at the international level and helping to provide better internet for Bangladesh. .

President of ISPAB Imdadul Haque said, I hope that through this conference, the professional skills of the domestic participants will be developed along with the overall development of the Internet sector. Skilled engineers produced through the Biding conference are already contributing to earning foreign exchange by creating their own workplaces abroad. Hope we can jointly contribute to increase the skill of more engineers.

Rashed Amin Vidyut, president of Biding, said that if we want to improve the overall management and infrastructure of the Internet in our country, the knowledge and professionalism of the engineers directly related to it should be increased. Through such technology conferences, local and international experts exchange their experiences together. As a result, over the past few years we have seen our Internet engineers grow in skill. So we want to continue the process of improving the quality of engineers through Biding conference.

ISPAB Secretary General Nazmul Karim Bhuiyan said, I hope that through this conference, skilled engineers will be created and they will play a role in providing safe internet services nationally and internationally.

BIDING general secretary Baraktul Alam Biplab said, on the occasion of the conference, papers have already been invited from local engineers on practical and academic research of the Internet. We hope that the research papers will help to analyze the various limitations of internet in Bangladesh and improve its quality.
