He spoke about these things in a meeting with a delegation from the “Center for NRB.” The meeting took place in the conference room of the Ministry of Law at the Secretariat on Tuesday.
The Law Minister mentioned that the government of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is dedicated to creating laws that benefit the people. The government is open to discussing with different groups when creating laws. In response to the request from MS Sakil Chowdhury, the Law Minister promised to allow non-resident Bangladeshis (NRBs) to participate in meetings about the laws and share their opinions.
Anisul Haque explained that the government has implemented new laws regarding information technology use and established virtual courts as part of Digital Bangladesh. They have also updated the Evidence Act from the British era. These government initiatives are benefiting people from all backgrounds, both within the country and internationally.
