BCS said, it is now taking initiative to arrange such workshop on monthly basis to inform the industry about the latest trends of cyber security as well as to apply the knowledge practically.

Md. Arif Uddin (Limon), Technical Manager, (Telco & SAARC) at Radware presented a insightful session on DDoS attack for Bangladesh in global perspective. He broadly presented some news DDoS attack type used by bad actors in recent time globally.

He highlighted the Radware anti DDoS product various capacity to defend the cyber attack for the organizations.

Md. Wahid Murad, Convener, Workshop sub-committee, Bangladesh computer society said, participants of the workshop to know how server is attacked, and the way, with mitigation.

He said, the DDoS experts presented informative lecture with the use cases which helps the participants to know about the actual scenario to DDoS attack. “API security, Email security, Server, Database and so on workshop will be arranged monthly” added Wahid Murad.

Alin Boby, Secretary General, Bangladesh computer society said, We are arranging such event for the betterment for the society as well as to connect the professionals under single umbrella. We also continue our various training programs with certifications.

He said, In next year, we are organizing “BCS ICT fest- 2025” with the collaboration with IICT BUET. The program includes poster design, project showcasing and capture the flag (CTF).

Zainal Abedin, Vice President (Academic) Bangladesh computer society said, Our today’s session was completely design for anti DDoS. We hope the session will help the participants for their practical life.
