Meta will set up four to five nodes in different locations in India to process data faster. Currently, data from Indian users is handled in Singapore. Having a local data center will improve user experience and reduce costs for local advertisements and data transmission.
The 10-acre MAA10 campus in Chennai’s Ambattur Industrial Estate is a joint venture between Brookfield Asset Management, Reliance Industries, and Digital Realty. It has a capacity of up to 100 MW for IT load.
