Adobe Patched 60+ Vulnerabilities Across 13 Products

Adobe’s August 2025 Patch Tuesday updates fix over 60 vulnerabilities in 3D design, content creation, publishing, and other products.

The software giant has released 13 new advisories, including five for vulnerabilities in Substance 3D products: Viewer, Modeler, Painter, Sampler, and Stager.

Adobe fixed critical code execution vulnerabilities and several medium-severity memory leaks in each update.

Adobe fixed four critical vulnerabilities in Commerce and the Magento open-source solution that could lead to privilege escalation, denial of service (DoS), and unauthorized file system access, as well as two security feature bypass issues.

In Animate, the company fixed one critical code execution vulnerability and a memory leak. In Illustrator, they resolved three code execution flaws and one DoS issue.

Adobe fixed a critical code execution bug in Photoshop, a memory leak in Dimension, and several critical flaws in FrameMaker.

Updates for InCopy and InDesign fix nearly 20 critical vulnerabilities that could allow arbitrary code execution.

Adobe is not aware of any malicious attacks exploiting these vulnerabilities. Although some flaws are rated critical, they have priority ratings of 2 or 3, meaning Adobe does not anticipate real-world exploitation.

Microsoft’s August 2025 Patch Tuesday updates fix over 100 vulnerabilities, including critical ones that allow remote code execution.
