The vulnerability is caused by using default passwords for important functions in ACI. Attackers could use this to access and run harmful commands, causing data breaches, service disruptions, and other serious consequences.
Acronis has released patches to fix the vulnerability. It’s important for users to update their ACI installations to the latest versions right away. Organizations should also change any default passwords in their ACI deployments and use strong password management practices.
