ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said that we have not received any mail from Viktor Markopoulos. He said this to reporters after an emergency meeting with 29 organizations involved in critical information infrastructure at the ICT Division on Monday (July 10).
The meeting was attended by representatives of the country’s law enforcement agencies, intelligence agencies and 29 institutions on the critical information infrastructure list. Apart from this, officials of Digital Security Agency (DSA) under ICT Department and Bangladesh Computer Incident Response Team (CERT) project were present.

Palak said, the amount of information leaked is not a threat to national security. A committee headed by the Director General of the Digital Security Agency has been formed to deal with the data breach. The committee will submit the investigation report within the next seven days. Apart from this, a standing committee will be constituted which will regularly monitor such incidents.
