This seminar was held in the conference room of the Divisional Commissioner Rajshahi on Friday (November 10) morning organized by the Digital Security Agency and Information and Communication Technology Division.
Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Dr. Dewan Muhammad Humayun Kabir highlighted various initiatives of the government to build a smart Bangladesh and said that to build a sustainable smart Bangladesh, everyone should be cyber aware and work together to prevent cyber crime.
The Divisional Commissioner also said that in terms of cyber security, one should always be aware of the latest cyber risks and take steps accordingly. He highlighted the issue of hosting all government service applications in government data centers considering cyber security risks and everyone should be aware before cyber accidents occur.

the seminar was presided over by the Additional Divisional Commissioner (Development and ICT) Dr. Md. Mokched Ali, Additional Divisional Commissioner (General) Jasim Uddin Haider and Deputy Commissioner Shamim Ahmed were present as special guests.
Digital Security Agency Director General Abu Sayed Md. Kamruzzaman presented the main article in the seminar. Sadat Rahman, winner of the International Children’s Peace Prize 2020 and founding president of Cyber Teens Foundation, was also present as a speaker.
Sadat Rahman, founder president of Cyber Teens Foundation, highlighted various issues to be done to prevent cyber bullying and asked the teenagers to inform the hotline number 13219 inaugurated by the honorable Prime Minister if they are victims of cyber bullying.
Abu Sayed Md. Kamruzzaman highlighted various aspects of cyber security and future plans of the Digital Security Agency.
It is to be noted that, in collaboration with the Divisional Commissioner’s Office, Rajshahi, various issues were discussed including informing the general public of the country about cyber crime and technology laws and enhancing their skills in cyber crime prevention.
