Law Minister Anisul Haque said that the Digital Security Act will be amended by September. He said this after a meeting with Uzra Zeya, Undersecretary for Civilian Security, Democracy and Human Rights of the US Department of State at the Secretariat on Thursday (July 12).
After the meeting, the Law Minister told the reporters, “The Digital Security Act was discussed.” What he has said before about this law, he told the same words to the US delegation.

Law Minister Anisul Haque also said that they want to see free, fair and impartial elections in all countries. On Wednesday, the Secretary of the Department of Law and Justice also told the European Union delegation that the country has the framework (legal framework) to make elections free and fair. The law minister said that those subsidiary laws have also been mentioned to the US delegation.
