ADIB’s New Face Recognition Technology Makes Account Opening Quick and Secure

Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has become the first bank in the UAE to offer a convenient remote account opening service for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) using facial recognition technology. This new service allows businesses to open an account without having to visit a branch or submit physical documents.

To open an account, businesses simply need to download the ADIB Direct Business app and complete the application process. The app uses facial recognition technology to verify the identity of the applicant and to capture their Emirates ID and passport information.
