The meeting was attended by representatives of the country’s law enforcement agencies, intelligence agencies and 29 institutions on the critical information infrastructure list. Apart from this, officials of Digital Security Agency (DSA) under ICT Department and Bangladesh Computer Incident Response Team (CERT) were present.
ICT state minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak commented that the amount of information leaked is not a threat to national security. A committee headed by the Director General of the Digital Security Agency (DSA) has been formed to deal with the data breach. The committee will submit the investigation report within the next seven days. Apart from this, a standing committee will be constituted which will regularly monitor such incidents.
