ChatGPT is down worldwide: OpenAI fixed issues

An outage began a few hours ago during the report publication, affecting ChatGPT users in the U.S., Europe, Asia, Japan, Australia, and other regions worldwide, according to DownDetector.

Bleeping Computer mentioned that multiple users have reported issues with the UI not loading properly and ChatGPT not working on both web and mobile apps.

Upon releasing the report, Chat GPT was functional, and OpenAI noted on its status page that a few requests encountered a significant number of errors.

“As of 3:14p pacific we’re experiencing a high error rate in ChatGPT for a small percentage of requests. This is impacting users on all ChatGPT plans,” reads the status message.

“As of 3:55p pacific we are currently working on deploying a potential fix (ETA ~30mins more).”
