BDSec CTF, an initiative by Knight Squad, began its journey in 2022. As the second international Capture The Flag (CTF) competition from Bangladesh, BDSec CTF quickly established itself as a prominent event in the global cybersecurity community. The inception of BDSec CTF followed the success of KnightCTF, the first international CTF competition from Bangladesh hosted by Knight Squad.

Driven by a passion for advancing cybersecurity knowledge and fostering a collaborative community, BDSec CTF is hosted annually. The event attracts participants from around the world, offering challenging and engaging problems that test a wide range of cybersecurity skills. Through BDSec CTF, Knight Squad continues to contribute significantly to the global cybersecurity landscape, promoting excellence and innovation in the field.

According to sources, two another CTF competition may be arranged in Bangladesh focusing on University students.
