Fake e-mail of Rajshahi Univ VC’ name-picture, sending messages

Someone is pretending to be Rajshahi University Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Golam Sabbir Sattar, by creating a fake email account and sending fake messages to people he knows. The vice chancellor is aware of this and has asked everyone to be cautious.

Professor Ghulam Sabbir Sattar warned about this on his Facebook page on Thursday night, advising everyone not to be confused.

He wrote in the post, Be careful! Recently in the name of Dr. Golam Shabbir Sattar opening a fake ID and contacting to buy iTune and Gift Card! Please do not respond to anyone! This is not my verified ID.

Along with this post, the vice-chancellor attached the screenshot of the message sent from the fake e-mail account. Where it can be seen that an e-mail containing the image of the Vice-Chancellor sends a message saying that there is an urgent need to work for the Vice-Chancellor.

Earlier, Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. A. S. M. Fraudsters created a fake Gmail account in the name of Maqsood Kamal and misled known and important people by sending fake messages. After he found out, he urged everyone not to be confused.
