To connect the geographically isolated (hard to reach) or disaster-affected population with uninterrupted high-speed internet, a meeting was held with officials of Information and Technology Department along with Global Affairs Manager Joel Merith and Global Licensing and Activation Manager Pernil Urdhaores of SpaceX’s associate company Star Link. The meeting was held at the ICT Division on Wednesday (July 26) afternoon.
ICT State Minister Zunayed Ahmed Palak gave a status on his verified Facebook page in this regard. He wrote, I hope the pilot program will start soon.
