CEOs of various organizations in Bangladesh shared their opinions in a survey by the global consulting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). The details were released in a press statement by PwC on Saturday night.
The organization conducted a global survey, which included a smaller survey in Bangladesh. This larger survey included responses from 4,702 CEOs across 105 countries between October 2 and November 10 of the previous year. In Bangladesh, 52 CEOs shared their opinions. The survey’s results were gathered from CEO interviews.
In a survey, 43% of Bangladeshi CEOs said India will be most important for their business growth in the next year, followed by the United States at 40%, and China at 29%.
67% of Bangladeshi CEOs believe changing consumer preferences will greatly impact businesses in the next three years, while 64% think government regulations will be impactful. Additionally, 60% feel that technological advancements will have the largest influence on businesses during this period.
PwC Bangladesh’s director Arijit Chakraborty mentioned that many CEOs in Bangladesh believe their businesses will become irrelevant in the next 10 years without transformation.
PwC Bangladesh’s Mamun Rashid stated that CEOs in Bangladesh are effectively handling immediate problems and seizing long-term business opportunities by leading technological transformations to meet increasing demands.
