With the increasing number of malware attacks and scams, the security of people’s devices is becoming a major concern.
To combat this problem and help individuals keep their smart phones secure, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has launched several free BOT removal tools. The government is actively reaching out to users through SMS notifications to spread awareness about it.
Government of India’s ‘Cyber Swachhata Kendra’ also known as Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Center has launched a free botnet detection and removal tool. Information about this botnet removal app is provided on the site of Cyber Transparency Center. This app is able to detect any type of bot app, malware and virus.
