Government of India’s ‘Cyber Swachhata Kendra’ also known as Botnet Cleaning and Malware Analysis Center has launched a free botnet detection and removal tool. Information about this botnet removal app is provided on the site of Cyber Transparency Center. This app is able to detect any type of bot app, malware and virus.

Internet service providers, antivirus makers and Computer Response Team of India (CERT-In) have partnered for this app. Note that ‘Bot’ is a type of malware and with its help a hacker can copy your phone’s entire data.
To remove and detect such malware and viruses from phones, the government has launched the eScan CERT-In Bot Removal app.
You can download eScan CERT-In Bot Removal app for free from Google Play Store. This app will prevent you from visiting any wrong and spam sites. Also this app can scan your phone and tell if your phone has virus or malware or not.
If you suspect that your phone may have a virus or malware, download eScan CERT-In Bot Removal or ‘M-Kavach 2’ app to your phone. This app gives you better advice for privacy.
The app tells you which apps are accessing your mic, camera, location, messages, calls, etc. After downloading the app, you need to perform a full scan.
After scanning, you will get information about virus etc. on your phone screen. You can delete the suspicious app yourself or this app will delete it too.
