WhatsApp is currently experiencing a global outage. Users around the world are unable to connect to the messaging service since 2PM ET today. The problem seems to be affecting all 2 billion users of WhatsApp.
WhatsApp does not have a status page. It is also not listed on Meta’s service status. You can still send messages, but they will only be delivered when WhatsApp is back online.

Facebook, Instagram, and Threads are also not reporting any issues on their status page. However, many users are having trouble viewing recent posts or creating new ones on these platforms.
WhatsApp recently experienced an outage, which happened shortly after a major outage on Meta platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, and Threads. Unlike the Meta outage, the WhatsApp outage only lasted for about two hours and did not affect its services.
WhatsApp is not usually affected by outages, and the previous significant outage occurred in 2022, when the service was offline for two hours.
