ICT State Minister Zunaid Ahmed Palak said, Gov.t think about creating ethical hackers. He said this to the reporters after an emergency meeting with the critical information infrastructure (CII) Monday (10 July) at ICT division on the issue of data leak recently.
The minister said, till now we came to know that limited number of information was accessible and it is under investigation. So, in that sense, leaked data is not a threat to national security. Two separate committees have been constituted to investigate the matter.

The Central Committee will submit its report in the next seven days and it will be sent to the higher level within ten days. Palak said that a permanent committee will regularly monitor these incidents.
Meanwhile, the secretary of the ICT division Md. Shamsul Arefin said, website management, maintenance and all related responsibilities of the respective organizations. We will take care of their advice, support or training and so on.
Shamsul Arefin said, we will work to increase the capacity of BGD e-Gov.t CERT. All kinds of cooperation starting from manpower, advanced technology, training will continue. So that CERT can take care of cyber matters more effectively.
However, he also emphasized on customer awareness in data protection.
