The reporter finds 75 corresponding messages sent to various people from the hacked account. Meanwhile, Imdadul Haque notified the issue to his fellows through a Facebook post.

His Facebook post reads,
“Warning
I, Imdadul Haque, President – ISPAB, regretfully inform you that my WhatsApp account has been hacked by spam. Many have noticed that messages are being sent using my name and identity, asking for money, which is completely fake and fraudulent.
Request to everyone, do not respond to such messages or send any money. I have not sent any such messages personally or institutionally.
Please inform your acquaintances about this matter and be careful. The matter has already been reported to the appropriate authorities and necessary legal action is being taken.
Everyone’s cooperation is requested.

He said, somehow I clicked on the link provided by an unknown person, and then my account got hacked. Hacker sent messages to my dear and near ones demanding money. I got my account back now.
