Downdetector reports significant outages for Facebook, WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram, affecting many users. Instagram has over 70,000 issues reported, while Facebook has more than 100,000 complaints, indicating a widespread problem.

In March and April of last year, Facebook, Instagram, and Threads experienced a one-hour outage. Users were logged out and needed to log in again, but the issue persisted. Meta has faced similar disruptions before, including a seven-hour outage in 2021 affecting all its platforms. Technical issues have continued to cause service disruptions for Meta over time.
