Google announced that it is enabling real-time phishing protection for all Chrome users. This means that Chrome will now check every website you visit against a list of known phishing sites in real time, even if you have not visited the site before. This will help to protect you from phishing attacks, which are attempts to trick you into giving up your personal information or clicking on a malicious link.
The real-time phishing protection feature was previously only available in the Enhanced Safe Browsing setting, but Google is now making it the default for all users. This is because phishing attacks are becoming increasingly sophisticated, and the old method of checking for phishing sites every 30 to 60 minutes is no longer enough.
